Description:

The External Suction Probe is a sampling system for heavier-than-air gases such as propane and butane. This external suction probe is a useful complementary device of Gazomat's portable detector product range and used for on-foot detection. It can be operated in combination with the IONIFLAM 2 gas leak detector to take samples of gases that are heavier than air, therefore eliminating the need to drill probe holes.

  • A compact but powerful pump located inside the unit : maximum flow rate between 300 L/h and 500 L/hour.
  • A quick connection to the gas leak detector.
  • Integrated filters :
    • water trap with a water detection device that stops the pump and warns the operator of the presence of water.
    • a dust filter.
  • Suction probe's length can be adjusted to the operator’s height.
  • Carrying handle and shoulder straps to carry the unit more conveniently between gas leak detection operations.
